She trained first as an anthropologist. Her anthropologic training informs everything she has built and everything she has written.

Rad AI is a medical AI software company. As Chief Clinical Officer Eli oversees the building of products always holding quality and safety paramount.

Before Rad AI, she served as President and CEO of a large radiology practice, sat on hospital boards and executive committees. Her professional writing covers staffing, workflow, and what happens when you put a doctor in a room full of engineers, executives, and clergy.

She is also a painter. She skies. She fishes. She tends a garden of more than 50 fig trees. She loves her family, friends, and animals. The latter make frequent appearances in her books.
